INDIANAPOLIS. Twenty-on- e Utah wrestlers particpated in the AAU Grand National Wrestling in InChampionships held July dianapolis, Indiana and brought home six national titles. Half of those championship medals were garnered by Mark Smith, wrestling in the 220 pound class, Elite division. Smith took top and honors in Sombo, Greco-Romafreestyle competition. There were nineteen hundred entrants in three styles of wrestling. The Utah contingent, all members of the Sundance Wrestling Club, earned 33 medals overall. Jeff Winderline, who, along with Bill Kilpack, coaches the club, received special recognition and a plaque for his efforts as AAU wrestling director for Region X. Sundance Wrestlers placed as 10-1- 3 n 3-- 2-- 4. City Community Center and the Salt Lake County Recreation Division will sponsor a Grass Doubles Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, July 26, at the Cottonwood Complex. An entry deadline has been scheduled for July 21. Doubles teams will be charged $15 to participate.
