Beginning at 6:30 p m., the seventh grade chorus, uder the direction of Dee Rich, will sing selections including MESS KIT Winter Wonderland and "Silver Bells. A second concert will begin at 8 p m. featuring the eighth grade mixed chorus, with numbers including Carol of The Drum and The Happiest Time Of The Year. The eighth and ninth grade girls glee will sing A Special Night and Sleigh Ride, while the ninth grade mixed teams competed in this tournament, which is one of the most prestigious debate tournaments of the year. Special congratulations to go Quang Dang and Matt Kosack for taking third places in novice debate and Ernie Gaminol for taking fifth place in student congress This is really outstanding. Grangers student officers hosted an ice cream party Monday in the Stonehenge for all students who made the honor roll for the first term. The ice cream party was a lot of fun. A 3.5 GPA is the required level for a person to be on the honor roll and being on the honor roll is a great accomplishment. Last week was a winning one for Taylorsville high. In a dual meet with the Granger Lancers, our Warriors kept the win at home by a score. Dave Vandeveegaete had an outstanding night with a tough pin. Todd Humphreys, Ryan Lightfoot and Tracy Sudoko also won their matches with pins in the dual meet. Tim Rogers assured the Warrior win by a winning score of 17-tournament Saturday a was taken by both the Taylorsville JV and varsity teams. The Warriors had a four wrestlers make it to finals. Tim Rodgers, Todd Humphreys and Tracy Sudoko all took first place in their weight divisions. Dave Vandeveegaete dislocated his and still shoulder in the semi-final- s lost in the finals by only one point. We hope Dave has a speedy healing. Warrior wrestling fans can cheer on the team (today) Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Olympus. The Titans will host a dual meet with Taylorsville on Thursday. Friday tourand Saturday another nament will also be held at Oly. Good luck to all Warrior wrestlers. The basketball game tomorrow will be held at Woodscross high near Bountiful. The JV game will begin at 5:30, followed by the varsity at 7:30. Our Warrior basketball team has had some stunning recoveries, long shots and, of course, wins so far.
