We sing it, read it on every signboard, in stores, in maga-- k zines, hear it on TV and from each person we meet. Get in touch with yourself. Sound odd? Well, it isnt. Find people who like to do the same things you do. Yoga classes, stamp collectors, meditation groups, ski resorts or bridge groups. The world is full of groups centered around one activity and they make plans for the holidays. Join one that does something you like to do. ... We are depressed, for one reason, because Christmas is a marker of time. The years that are gone can hit you like a truck and you realize you never are going to do all the things you once planned. You think of Christmases past and become dissatisfied, disillusioned and spend the day groping for cast-of- f dreams. Dont let it happen to you. Great, but most families like to hoosh around home so the kids can enjoy Santas gifts. So, find a few just like you and have a dinner party. Itll give you the incentive to decorate the house and, if you make it a pot luck, your guests can enter into the spirit of the day, also. Start giving. Family, of course, if you have one. But collect and fix up toys and clothes. Get your office into it . . . your school group . . . your bridge club, and then either give them to some organization or find a family that can stand a bit of help and get with it.
