If you want to see and hear less of handgun-relate- d incidents, why not write to your lawmakers and police departments and demand that the handgun owners be educated in the handling and use of handguns, then require that permits be issued proving they have passed the classes and require renewal tests every year or Dear Editor: Handguns have very little to do with the innocent victims being killed in America each year. Handguns dont kill people, people kill people. If you want to stop the innocent from being killed by manmade machinery, why not get the 200,000,000 cars and trucks off the road? After all, America, wake. up and count the thousands of people killed in traffic accidents due to unsafe vehicles, poor weather conditions, the drunk or drugged driver, or worse yet, the driver who plain just doesnt give a damn about himself or others, much less road so.
