Lisa Canfield was chosen Homecoming queen to reign over festivities at Cyprus high Friday. Selected as her attendants were Heather Case and Tonya Holdaway. Ricky Turner was chosen king, with Cam Smith and John Griffiths as attendants. Alums Vickie Neilson and her sister Penny performed a dance during the assembly. Also introduced was Cyprus teacher of the year Bob Jones. A large crowd assembled for the alumni tea, including as guests, student body officers from Kennedy and Brockbank junior highs and Granite high. Dr. Loren Burton and Riley ONeil represented Granite district in the Homecoming parade, along with Dr. J. Dale Christensen from the Board of Education.
