The Childrens Center, with locations in Kearns and on the University of Utah campus, is inviting interested families to participate in a new program. The general goal for the program is to provide positive play experiences between parents and their 3 and children, in hope of preventing problems or, if problems already exist, helping parents to solve them, a spokesman for the center said. Eight groups of mothers and children will meet for eight, sessions with an experienced early childhood specialist. Interaction, stimulation and communication will be observed and possible changes suggested and modeled.
