Show 73 Hi, Warriors. Spirit Week is going along great. The class competition for decorating the halls has helped build a lot of enthusiasm. Tomorrow (Friday) after the basketball! game, there will be a stomp. Everyone come and have a! good time. The basketball team played great Friday, . St beating! Thej Bingham Warriors will try to defeat Brighton tomorrow at home at 7:30. Come out and support the guys. The girls defeated Bingham Lori Miles scored 21 points, Sue s Johnson 16 and Michelle 11. The girls also play Brighton tomorrow at Brighton. The jayvees play at 3 and the varsity at 5 Good luck, girls. Congratulations, swim team, for doing a good job at the district meet. Next week on Tuesday and Thursday, they will host Highland and East, both at 3 oclock. Also next week, the wrestling team on Wednesday and Thursday will compete in the Region Two meet at Hillcrest. The mighty class of '83 has been the reigning force this week at Granger high. The seniors began their week with a scrounge day on Monday. Everyone! wore the scroungi-v- i est clothes they had. Tuesday was Levi Strauss day. Our girls basket-- i ball team, which competed against j Woods Cross Tuesday, is doing really! great this year. Tuesday night Granger sponsored a stomp inf Stonhenge with surrounding schools invited. Wednesday was cowboy day. The students wore cowboy hats, boots and the like to school. Today (Thursday) is ski day and everyone will be wearing their favorite ski sweaters, hats and goggles. Also tonight, our winsome wrestlers have a meet beginning at 7:30 in the Granite Farmers gym. We wish them all the best of luck. The boys team goes up against the Huskies tomorrow (Friday) at 5:30 and 7:30, then again against the Miners on Tuesday. Show your spirit and support these teams to victory 20-2- 5 Read" Center Cut Rib COTTONWOOD More SOUTH than 50 junior highs, high schools and colleges have been invited to participate in the eighth annual jazz invitational at Cottonwood high this week. I expect of them to attend, said Clint Frohm, organizer and director of the invitational. Well have bands from Cedar, Heber, Logan and Ogden, as well as from here in the valley, he added. Today (Thursday) and tomorrow the various groups will have their performances judged. Clinic sessions are scheduled during the afternoon. Clinicians will include Craig Turley, trumpeter out of the Osmond Studios who will instruct the brass players; Tevis Laukat, also working out of the Osmond Studios, who will offer saxaphone and woodwind clinics and Bob Campbell, professional drummer and music education teacher in Davis School District who will handle the rhythm sections. The judges will select groups from 1983 X Boneless Loin PORK ROAST and tomorrows performances to be on the honors program tomorrow night at 7:30 in the auditorium. Also performing during the evening program will be the three clinicians who will play solos with Cottonwood highs jazz band All activities are basically free, Mr. Frohm commented, except for the clinic sessions. Participants are attending with fees being paid by their various schools . The public is being invited to any of the other sessions, however, he said.
