Hillam, new president of the Orem Chamber of Commerce during the annualinstallation banquet Thursdaynight at Utah Technical lege in Orem. Hetold the more than 100 members and guests of the Orem chamber that the organization in Orem has been successful because of cooperation and people working together. New officers for 1980 were sworn in to office by Orem Mayor James E. Mangum. The1980 officers are Richard J. Hillam, president; Marjorie Larsen, RICHARD J. HILLAM rresiies Grover Swallow, vice president; Connie Barker, executive vice president, and Max R.Curtis, 1979 president. Lynn Barney, Alan Booth, Robert DeWitt, Earl Farnworth, and Tom periel are new directors. They will continuing directors, Roscoe Carroll, William itchfield, B. Keith Duffin, Merrill Gappmayer, Steven L. Grow, Duane Herbert, H.A. Huish, Dr. Dee Martin, Brent Sumner, David Thomas and Ralph Watt. The 1979 president, Max R. Curtis, thanked theretiring directors for their work and Poecaine in the Orem Chamber: directors include, Eldon pais Van Johnson, Darrell Robinette, Larry King, Glen Zimmerman and DeLance W Squire, a ee president, also was presented Orem Chamber's total citizens award and will now compete for the state chamber’s total citizens award.
