Warren first camp after her Richard and Audrey Sims of Milbrea, Calif., arrived to mother-in-la- Surviving are one son and three daughters, James Morgan Warren, Louisville, Ky.; Mrs. Milton R. (Ruth) Kidman, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Helen W. Bockholt, Layton; and Mrs. E. Jay (Gloria) Cuth-ber- t. Syracuse; 15 grandchildren and 12 greatg- randchildren. ALSO, TWO brothers and one sister, Ralph Morgan and Lester Morgan, Layton; Mrs. Ruby M. Allen, Cleveland, Ohio; stepbrother, Dell Morgan, Smithfield. Two sons, Reed J. and Calvin Leo, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Syracuse Stake Center with Bishop Grant M. Steed officiating. Milton R. EVA JANE WARREN Mrs. Eva Jane Morgan Warren, 84, died April 3, 1981 in the Davis North Convalescent Home of cancer. She resided at 2626 W. 700 S., Syracuse. She was born June 22, 1896 in Layton, a daughter of Alfred J. and Emily Ellis Morgan. SHE SPENT her early youth in Layton and graduated from Davis High School. She married Leo L. Warren Dec. 26, 1915 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 16, 1977. She resided in Syracuse since her marriage. An active member of Syra- cuse First Ward and had served in numerous church positions. She had been a Sunday School teacher for 25 years and a Relief Society visiting teacher for over 50 years. DURING WORLD War II she served with the Red Cross, served with the Syracuse PTA and was an active member of the Rachel Warren Layton Camp DUP. She was instrumental in forming this DUP camp, and from this organization two more camps have been formed. She named the Kidman gave the family prayer; prelude and postlude music was played by Mrs. Marvetta G. Saunder and Mrs. ReNae G. Bodily. In The Garden was sung by Harris and Mrs. RaNae G. Bodily, acc. Mrs. Helen W. Briggs gave a musical reading, acc. by Mrs. Marvetta G. Saunders. SPEAKERS WERE Bishop D. Lawrence Cook, Pres. I. Haven Barlow and Bishop Grant M. Steed. A medley of songs was given by Mrs. Bodily and Mrs. Saunders and That Wonderful Mother of Mine, was given by Dennis Wright, acc. by Mrs. RaNae Bodily. Benediction by Fay Child. Grave dedication by James M. Warren; pallbearers were Paul G. Kidman, Val Kidman, Floyd Morgan, Calvin A. Warren, Clyde Morgan and Robert D. Mabey. HONORARY pallbearers were Leo Kidman, Matthew Warren, Calvin Warren, Scott Warren, Clark Warren, Jeffery Warren, Jon Warren and James Warren. Cottrell Dies At 74 Years Funeral services were held April 11 in the Lindquists Kaysville Morturary Chapel for Mrs. Leone Stringham Cottrell, 74, of 478 S. Main, Kaysville, who died April 8, 1981 in a Bountiful nursing home. MRS. COTTRELL was born April 10, 1906 in Woods Cross, a daughter of Dr. Briant and Sabrina Smith Stringham. She married Carl B. Cottrell Jan. 5, 1933 in Ogden. He died Feb. 4, 1980. She had worked as a cook in the Davis County schools. She attended Davis High School. Was a member of the LDS church positions. She was a member of several neighborhood clubs. 1 1 brothers and three sisters, Briant Stringham. Clearfield; James Rodney Stringham, Lucy Taylor and Helen Lee, all of Bountiful; John Jex Stringham, Roy and Della Tribe, Ogden. FUNERAL services were under the direction of Bishop Russell Williams of the Kaysville 11th Ward. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Grant Cullimore of DeLayton, and Mr. and Mrs. von Jones of Farmington. Dr. and Mrs. James E. Jones Jr. of 84 N. Country Lane, Fruit Heights announce the arrival of a son born on March 26 weighing 7 Vi lbs. at the Davis North Medical Center. He is being named Christopher Javin. It is their second child and second son. At home is Calyton Justin. Dr. Kanute Barnes of Pullman, Wash, is spending a week in Kaysville and will visit with his aunt and uncle, Dr. and Mrs. D. Keith Barnes. Dr. K. Barnes is assistant director of student health services and practicing physician at Washington State College. He is a former Kaysville resident. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker of Kaysville and her brother and sister-in-laMr. and Mrs. A.C. Nichols of Ashton, Ida. returned from a trip to Oregon where they visited another brother, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Nichols at Sublimity, Ore., and also spent time in Portland on a vacation trip. En route there they stayed in Idaho Falls, Ida., where Mr. Parker helped judge the Intermountain Drill competition at Idaho Falls High School. Mrs. Saundra White underwent major surgery last week at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. 10-d- Houseguests for two weeks of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Waite will be his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Waite, and his mother, Mrs. George I. Waite of Rockford, 111. Rulon Waite recently underwent major surgery at the Davis North Medical Center. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lincoln were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Armga and daughters Carol Armga and Cheryl Ross and two children all of Jerome, Ida.,. and Mrs. Margaret Lin- coln of Twin Falls, Ida., mother of Mr. Lincoln. The Armga family came to see their other daughter Patricia Armga leave from the Salt Lake Airport for her mission to Misthe sion. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Bourne have returned from a trip to Texas and visited Monday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bourne. They left their children with his parents while in Texas. They have now returned to their home in Ida. Mrs. Ben Whicker spent a week in Phoenix, Ariz. with their son and family, Lt. and Mrs. Glenn Whicker. She enjoyed visiting with their twins. Visitors last week of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hawkes was her sister Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Montgomery of Mesa, Ariz. who came to be here for their mother Mrs. Hannah Peasons 86th birthday. England-Bumingha- Rex-bur- and three children, South Weber; Mr. and Mrs. Eric Goecheritz and family, Mr. Briant Stringham. Remarks were made by Bishop Williams; a tribute to her grandmother by Cameron Cottrell; speakers were William Sanders and Pres. Stephen Whitesides; Marcia Mansell played an organ medley and Gary McCarty gave the benediction. PALLBEARERS were Cameron Cottrell, Kris trell, Craig Cottrell, Kurt CotCot- trell, Marc Lee and Trent Weaver. Honorary pallbearers were David Dean, Kevin Cottrell and Travis Kidman. Don C. Cottrell dedicated the grave and the flowers were cared for by the Kaysville 1th Ward Relief Society. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. 1 Kaysville Births From Bountiful comes word of the arrival of a daughter, their first born, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jones. She weighed in at 9 lbs. 4 oz. on March 24 at the Lakeview Hospital and will be named Jessica Lynn. At home are two brothers Brandon and Jamie. Mrs. Jones is the former Barbara Cullimore of Kays-vill- attend their niece's wedding, Kim Nance, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn M. Nance on April 10. Mrs. Sims is a sister of Mr. Nance. They will be visiting for a short while and will visit other relatives in the area before returning home. Monday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bloxham was his two brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bloxham, John Day, Oregon, and Mr. and Mrs. Vestal Bloxham of Wellsville and Mrs. Nancy Mullen. Mr. and Mrs. Vemell Swan-ge- r have returned home from Mesa, Ariz., where they spent the winter months. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Crawley visited with her mother Mrs. Juanite Wilson of Morgan who was ill at the McKay Hospital. Mrs Delene Bowman of Kaysville and her mother Mrs. Emma Thompson of Bountiful visited in Orem with a cousin, LeRoy Perman who is seriously ill. They also visited with Mrs. Bowmans daughters and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Rolfe Andrus, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sagers of Provo; and with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Brent Soelberg in American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker of Kaysville and her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nichols and daughter Marilyn Hanks of Salt Lake City had din- ner Bountiful in on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Raymond and daughter Sheryl visited in Provo with Nancy Raymond who is attending BYU. Mrs. Elsie Heaton, Mrs. Barbara Spendlove and Mrs. Mildred Raymond attended their club party in Ogden at the Mansion House on Friday evening. Vene Collett recently under- went major surgery at the Davis North Medical Center. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bloxham of Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Blake W. Bennett of Farming-ton- , were dinner guests on Sunday in Sunset of Mr. and Mrs. Marino Ganz. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bowman had as visitors recently Mr. and Mrs. Larry Smith and his brother Robert and his two sisters Evelyn Smith Baer and Lorraine Smith Connelly of Oakland, Calif., who came for the burial of their father, Ralph Smith of Kaysville, and five weeks later their mother Mrs. Edna Smith died and graveside services were held for her in Utah also. Many in this area will remember Mr. and Mrs. Smith and their family, Larry, Lorraine and Evelyn. They stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Bowman while in Utah for both services. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Raymond hosted a dinner party at their home Friday evening for the Mountain Road Neighborhood dinner club. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Raymond were cohostesses. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Abrams, Mr. and Mrs. George Fivas, Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Manning, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hogge, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Brand, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Spendlove, all of Fruit Heights; and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Biggs of Vancouver, British Columbia. Chris Watkins and Jeremy Stevens of Kaysville Jr. High were among the winners of the 1981 Regional Science Fair of the junior high division. Mrs. Salome Barnes was honored on her birthday anniversary April 3 with an open house at the home of her granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Birch in King Clarion on Saturday, April 11. Miss Allyson Roueche who is a student at Ricks College was a guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ned B. Roueche over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Thorne attended their mission reunion for those serving in Tonga on Friday in Salt Lake City. During the reunion they gathered some money to be donated toward the Tonga Temple at a dance that evening, during the reunion. Mrs. Ivan Lincoln entertained at a birthday party for their daughter Blythe Ann who was eight years old on Friday, April 10. The group enjoyed attending the movie in Kaysville with refreshments after. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sides entertained at a family birthday dinner at their home on Sunday in honor of their daughter Mrs. Vickie Carrier. Other guests included Vickie's husband Pete Carrier, Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sides and family of Farmington; Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Sides, Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. Sides entertained guests from Ogden and Salt Lake City at their home Thursday evening for a club party. Miss Kim Nance was honored at a bridal shower on Saturday, March 21 at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Inez Barker in Fruit Heights. Twen-ty-fi- ve guests attended. Assisting hostesses were Mrs. Susan Hartley, Mrs. Fawn Morgan, Mrs. Jan Barker, Mrs. Janet Webster and Mrs. Bonnie Kirkpatrick. Mrs. Julie Scheuller and two children arrived home from Germany on Wednesday to visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Laddie Timothy and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schueller. Her husband. Dr. Coleman Scheuller will remain in Germany until June to complete his assignment there and then join his family in the states. Mrs. Lois Holliday flew to Houston, Tex. to await the arrival of a grandchild. She will be with their daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hess. Mrs. Ed Sprague entertained at a family birthday dinner on Sunday in honor of her husband Ed on his birthday. KEITH IS a junior at Davis High School and attends Utah Technical College in Salt Lake during the evening. Last quarter he worked with the college staff and developed a computer program for the school to enable them to compile and condense the alumni records.
