They were married April 22, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and have resided in Ogden most of their married life. They are presently members of the South Ogden 80th Ward. THE NEXT Layton City Council meeting is April 16. On the agenda is a representative from the Utah League of Cities and Towns who will give Mayor Lewis G. Shields some special recognition and a check for Laytons achievement in the community progress program. On April 17, the American Legion will host a dance at the Post Building. WITH EASTER coming, several Easter egg hunts will be held. The Kiwanis Club is planning one but a time and place has yet to be decided. The Knights of Columbus will have an Easter egg hunt on April 19 at St. Rose of Lima. This same organization will g host dinner at St. Rose Hall on April 25. Boy and cub scouts from Layton and other communities in north Davis County will fund-raisin- meet at Layton High School May 2 to demonstrate scouting skills. Tickets are $1 and the public is invited. THE LAYTON City Improvement Association will meet May 5. All churches and civic organizations are invited to send a representative to the meeting which wil begin at 8 p.m. in the museum. Laytons City Council meetings for May will be May 7 and 21 at 7 p.m. THE LCIA sponsored citywide cleanup is scheduled for May 9. More details will be printed later. May is graduation month. Jorgensen Elected In Nevada Bill Jorgensen, son of Samuel and Marlene Jorgen- sen, Layton, was recently elected student senator for the University of Nevada-Ren- o College of Arts and Science. JORGENSEN, 19, and a sophomore, is a chemistry major and has been involved with various student committees while at UNR. Dr. Willett later toured several European countries before deciding to practice in Utah.
