THE COMMISSION also approved a lease agreement between the county and the municipal building authority which allows Davis County 1 Mental Health officials to lease the new Bountiful facility for one year. RILEY, a native of Bountiful, moved to Layton 38 years ago to start his own business. For many years he owned and operated the Phillips 66 Service Station at 137 S. Main. After he sold the service station, Mr. Riley worked for 20 years selling real estate for Poutsen Realty. Mrs. Althera Riley was bom in Salt Lake City. The couple was married on Sept. 4, 1929. Their first home was in Elko, Nev. Mr. Riley was working in Elko for Safeways Stores. MR. AND Mrs. Riley lived in many Nevada and California communities while Dan was employed by Safeways. Both have been active members of the LDS Church. They have held many church leadership positions. Mr. Riley was called to be the first bishop of the Layton 11th LDS Ward. FOR MANY years Mr. Riley was active in the Layton Kiwa-ni- s Club. After his retirement, Mr. Riley and his wife became interested in programs for the senior citizens. During the 1960s Mr. Riley served on the Davis County Council for Aging Board. WHEN LAYTON decided to organize weekly meetings for senior citizens, the Rileys BONDSMAN Ed Felsing told commissioners that the s county received a rating from a New York City firm. ACCORDING to representatives, the Davis County School District has purchased a portion of the property for a new school. Ken Gurr said the property in question has been annexed by Bountiful officials who have agreed to realign the road. The road represents the dividing line between the city and the county.
