Show Thursday, Octobc: 33, 1997 Page 12 Snow volunteers teach Halloween safety tips By Lisa Pickett Snow College volunteer students recently traveled to every Sanpete County elementary school to perforin a Halloween Safety presentation. Dean O'Driscoll, Snow College Director of Public Relations, began this program because, We care that the kids are safe because they are the future of Snow College. He also says another reason is that everydoby participating really enjoys the experience. Its always fun and brings a smile to their faces, Dean adds. This year joining with the volunteers were the Snow College cheerleaders. The students really enjoyed the Badger and the amazing stunts the cheerleaders did. Susan Whiting, the advisor of BAAD and Snow College Director of the Wellness Center, says drugs and alcohol awareness is one of the safety factors of Halloween.
