Olsen will be pleased to have his friends and relatives come to help them honor their father at an open house as he celebrates his 80th birthday on Saturday, November 8th between 2 and 5 p.m. at the Senior Citizen Center located in Ephraim at 85 West 100 North. Leon was born November 10, 1917 to goodly parents ... Ali and Ila Olsen. He said that he was bom 1 year, 1 day, 1 hour and 1 minute before the Armistice was signed. He has one living sister Betty (Gustave) Erickson of Venice, Utah. Two brothers, Burke and Reid, and three sisters, Joanne, Fern and Eva, are deceased, as are his parents. Leon and his first wife, Ruth, are the parents of five children: Robert (Pat) Olsen, Lynnda (Den-niCox, Barbara (Dane) Rawlinson, JoAnne (Park) Addison, and Kelly (Deborah) s) Cutler.
