After showing their stuff, seminary students were invited bounce with them to different parts of the world as their mission calls were extended. They will be having a barbecue and playing croquet. So, all of those that are in FBLA, join the fun. The present officers, would also like to wish good luck to all 1 of the prospective FBLA officers. The FBLA has also Talent Assembly the planned ). for May 20 The first will winner receive $50, place second place; $30, and third place; $20. So good luck to all of those who are participating. (M-Day- FHA This year FHA has accomplished many of its goals. They were able to participate in several successful service projects and fund raisers. FHA Week was a blast, ending with the traditional Sadie Hawkins Dance. FHA would like to thank all the students who helped to decorate and carry through with the dance preparations. Liz Blauer, the FHA President and Charity Gardner, another officer, were able to participate in Region and State FBLA competitions this year. Charity quail! 1 for Nationals in the area of Job Interview. FFA FFA has been busy this year with many fun and exciting activities. On May 4, the FFA held a trap shoot special at Mark Olsen's dad's farm. They ate sweet and sour chicken, pork chops and other good food. A few members attended the FFA State Convention in Cedar City a few weeks ago. Members also had a chance to judge events in Ephriam and at Brigham Young University. FFA would like to thank Mark and all of the officers for the wonderful year. BAND Many hours of practice and playing has brought this years band class together. With the help of their director, Mrs. Whitaker, they received superior ratings at the Region Band Festival. The band also performed at the Snow College Festival and two days later at State. The band showed their school spirit at State as they performed their piece. The piece included part of MHS Forever. Some band members were also given the opportunity to play with three other bands at the O.C. Tanner Theater at Zions. Band students mentioned, We had lots of fun meeting other students and This year seeing the sights. the band students learned, It s not the ratings that arc important, but how much we improved and how much we learned! horses, land, dairy and other Cheer and Drill members named 3y: Sharie P.
