Noble, James Peacock, Janey Ann Petersen Manti Elementary PTA News By Dona Brady The Manti Elementary School PTA sponsored a Talent Show on Tuesday May 5th. Suzanne Gergetz was the representative in charge of the Talent Show, and David Tibbs was the MC. There were two different shows that evening, one at 6 p.nt. and one at 7:30 p.m. Qer 50 children par- ticipated and ribbons were awarded to each of them. Miss Utah, Mary McDonough, visited Manti Elementary School, on May 7th. She presented an assembly to all the students on setting high goals, hard work and never giving up. The students w ere treated to a concert by The Manti I ligh School Symphony Orchestra on the afternoon of May 7th. The PTA Room Mothers Luncheon was on May 12th. This is an annual luncheon to which all Manti Elementary School volunteers are invited so that the PTA and Manti Elementary School can express their gratitude for all the service these volunteers give to the school. Pleasant, will reign as queen over the Ephraim Stampede and Rodeo at the upcoming Scandinavian Festival in Ephraim this year.. The royalty was selected after tryouts last Saturday, May 9.
