Soph more Senior Class Officers: Top to Bottom Ty Miller, April Butterfield, Nicl Lund, Becca Jordan. 4 Manti High School Forms Foundation By: Principal Petersen This year Manti High School organized a foundation which we believe has the potential to significantly improve the experience our students enjoy here. Our South Sanpete School District is the lowest funded per student in the State and Utah is the second lowest in the Nation. As a result, the fund we receive to support student activities are very limited... but costs are not. The fees and costs we must pass on to students and their families prevent many from being able to participate fully. If you've recently attended Manit High School you know how many fund raisers we do just to survive. Local business all know also because we're constantly Junior Class Officers: from left to right: Chantry Clark, Jcmie Peterson, Sarah McCarty, Beki NuttalL approaching them for their financial support. Our Manti High Foundation makes it possible for any friend or Alumni of MHS to give a tax deductable donation or gift to the school. Separate accounts exist that would assure that any funds received would be used in accordance with the donors wishes for as long as the school exists. We plan to contact our Alumni to inform them of our Foundation but pledge not to pressure anyone to contribute.
