The ticketing is in accordance with a city ordinance that has existed for many years. It is to facilitate snow removal between Nov. 1 and March 1. City officials said that new residents unaware of the ordinance are still subject to it. FARMINGTON The Farmington City Police Department has added a third full time officer, Val Morton to the staff. Morton has been with the Kaysville Police Department for the last five years and served as a reserve patrolman for Farmington before that. He is presently completing his Bachelors of ' Science degree at Weber State College in police science and sociology. The Mortons will be making their home in Farmington as soon as they are able to sell their Kaysville home, Morton said.
