Show Roy Students Get Honors 8C Lakeside Review, Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1981 Health Fair Held At Holbrook School A health fair was presented BOUNTIFUL the Hanna Holbrook Elementary School and students and parents were invited to attend to acquire information on good helath habits and how to maintain them. Many community services were represented at the fair. They had their own table set up with information available and a speaker, which explained his function to help maintain good health. A few of the exhibits were: mental health, taught by JoAnn Barnes; podiatry; Lynn Addard, from the Cancer Society explains to the children the effects of smoking. Don Bennett told the children about Officer Ugg and specific poisons along with examples of products that contain poisons. Mark Roberts, chiropractor brough his set of bones. Amy Jackson from the Society For the Prevention of Blindness discussed the eye and how to care for the eye in case of an accident and accident prevention. ROY Roy Junior High School has announced honor rolls for the first term. Some 121 attained top grades. They are: Seventh grade, all "A" grade! There were many other very informative exhibits. at Clearfield High Gives Santa Hand CLEARFIELD Students at Clearfield High School have been busy gathering items for Sub for Santa in a unique way. Each day a different item is being brough to school to help in gathering goodies for those in need. In order to encourage participation in the Sub for Santa, Miss Holly Kirkbride and David Steele, instructor, put a video movie together, which Holly narrated and also sang. Roy High Drama Club Lakeview PTA Sets Meeting, Program To Present 'Rainmaker' The Roy High School ROY Drama Club will be presenting The Rainmaker Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the little theater at the high school. The play is set in a small town during a bad drought. A stranger comes into town and promises a destitute family rain in 24 hours for a fee. The stranger turns out to be a fraud but Lakeview PTA will hold a meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. The kindergarden, first, second and third graders will be presenting a musical program. Lakeview Banners will be sold by the PTA before and after the meeting for $1.50 each. ROY mid-weste- Students on wins the affection of the family members. Tickets are $1 for students and for adults and can be purchased from cast members, drama club members or at the door.
