She was born to Mark Hymas and Jennifer Guittar May 27, 1007 in Salt Lake City. Lauren brought such joy and happiness to all her family and to everyone who knew her. She was a very high spirited little girl who was PRICE - David Scott Baker, age 28, died Feb. 21, 2001. I le was born Jan. 7, 1 973 in Price. Married Elizabeth Liz Tone Sept. 18, 1999 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper. Graduate Carbon High School Class of 1991. Former employee of Willow Creek mine prior to moving to Raonia, where he was presently working for Oxbow Mining Company. Survived by wife, Elizabeth Liz Baker, Paonia, Colo.; parents, Nancy Baker, Reno, Nev.; James and Michele Baker, Price; brothers and Daddys Little Angel and Mommy's Little Sunshine". We will all miss her very much. Scheduled as follows: PROJECTS AND BOX CANYON WATER DEVELOPMENTS The FerronPnce District. Manti-L- a Sal National Forest is conducting an environmental analysis in cooperation with the Emery County Water Conservancy District and the Ferron Dam and Canal Company for two watershed improvement projects. The district is also conducting an environmental analysis in cooperation with the Emery Stock Growers Association for a water development protect. These project proposals are located on National Forest System lands administered by the FerronPrice Ranger District. The watershed improvement proposal includes: 1) Ferron Canyon, Birch Creek, Biddlecome Flat Bull Hollow, and North Dragon areas gully stabilization and sedimentation traps. The proposal indudes construction ot sedimentation traps by utilizing nearby surface rock to build loose rock check dams, gabions, and keylock dams in shallow washes. If rocks are not available tire structures may be used. In Birch Creek, nearby rock will be used to create sediment traps between existing anchored boulders in the canyon bottom, the purpose is to catch sediments being produced from Mancos shale formations before it enters the stream system and reservoirs. The project area lies in sections 3 and 4 of Township 20 South, Range 6 East SLM; sections 4, 5, 9 and 1 0 of Township 1 9 South, Range 6 East, SLM, and sections 32 and 33 of Township 1 8 South, Range 6 East, SLM. 2) Ferron Creek riparian vegetation planting. Native willow and carex species would be planted along Ferron Creek. The purpose is to increase streambank stability and trap sediments by increasing establishment and density of stream bank vegetation. The project area lies in sections 3and 4 of Township 20 South, Range 6 East; section 33 of Township 1 9 South, Range 6 East, The water development proposal is to develop water sources in the East Fork of Box Canyon and upper Box Canyon. This proposal would include installation of a head box, water troughs, and water line. Head box areas would be fenced. Water would be moved out of the canyon to troughs in the uplands using a solar pump. The solar panels and pump would be set up on an as needed basis. The purpose is to reduce impacts to riparian areas and improve livestock distribution in the uplands. The project area lies in sections 1 0 and 1 1 ol Township 2 1 South, Range 5 East, SLM. Environmental effects from these proposals are expected to be negligible. Comments are invited on this proposal.
