Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stanton, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burras-to- Mr. and Mrs. Mike Burdett, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Brent Webb, Provo; Mrs. Richard Fagg, Mrs. Klafina, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Barker, Mr. and Mrs. James Morgan, of Fruit Heights; Mrs. Lucille Barker, George F. Barker and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Nance of Kaysville and their families. Mrs. Harriet Spendlove spent a few days in Idaho Falls, Ida. visiting with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Garbett. Miss Elaine Spendlove of Logan is visiting with her mother between quarters at Utah State University. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Ward and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cloward spent four days last week at Bear Lake. Miss Alese Umpleby was among the riders in the Fun Day Horse Show held in Sandy on Saturday, June 5 at the A1 Johnson Farm. Alese rode Delights Heir from the stables of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Runnells of Fruit Heights. family visited in Garland with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Donald Larsen and daughter Mrs. Sheryl Lewis and two children of Yuciapa, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Ron Nielson of Clearfield were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Perkins. Mrs. Larsen is a daughter of Mrs. Perkins. Mrs. Elsie Heaton recently isited in California with her sister and brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Roy Ellis and their family at Riverside and spent much time sightseeing while there with the family. Mr. and Mrs. Harry White returned home from Yuma, Colo, where they spent time with his mother Mrs. Myrtle White who is 98 years old and still active. Mr. and Mrs. John Barker had their baby daughter blessed and named Rosa Anna on Sunday in the Kaysville 8th LDS Ward meeting. They entertained at a family gathering at their home following the special event. Guests included . her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Burdett of LaVerkin; Henry Brown and in Riverside with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ira Ward. Miss Ora Lyn Richardson spent 10 days in Hawaii where she attended the ESL (English Second Language) convention. She is now continiing her studies at Brigham Young University. She is the daughter of Mr. Mrs. and Ivan Richardson. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Richardson attended the church services in Bountiful where their son Edmund Richardson was made Bishop of the Orchard 12th LDS Ward. Bishop and Mrs. Bengt Jonsson entertained at a family dinner Sunday in honor of their son Elder David Jonsson who recently returned from serving on his mission to the Korea-SeoMission. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown, Garland; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brown, Centerville; Mr. and Mrs. Mel Ward and family of Kaysville. ul Mr. and Mrs. Roy Welty and children of North Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Giles and family of Taylorsville and his mother Mrs. Sarah Giles, Kaysville spent Memorial Day at their cabin in Kamas. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Clo- ward spent the holiday weekend in Goshen and Payson with relatives and friends. Miss Heather Talbot of Chicago, 111. arrived to visit with her father Michael Talbot for the summer months. Mrs. Vera Muggelston of Salt Lake City is spending a few days with her sister Mrs. Nora Miller. Rick Liston, son of Mr. and Mrs.. Paul Liston has graduated from the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, Grand Rapids, Michigan in the Pastorail program. It was a three year school program. He has now returned to Utah with his parents. Miss Terry Garrett of Laca-nadCalif, graduated from a, Utah State University in Logan. She has been visiting with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Glen Garrett for a few days prior to leaving for Denver, Colo. Fritz Michael was seriously injured in an accident at his home last week and is confined to the Davis North Medical Center in Layton where he underwent major surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Allen and children have now returned to their home in San Jose, Calif, after visiting with both of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl D. Allen, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brailsford, Layton. The grandparents were happy to have them home for a short visit and to see their new baby son whp was bom in April. Mr. and Mrs. George Talbot, and their children, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Talbot and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Talbot and family vacationed for one week at their condominium. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Corless and two daughters Kaylene and Keri and Eric Stevenson attended the wedding reception of a niece Miss Deon Eck who was married to Jay Reeder on Friday, June 4 at Preston, Ida. CHARLES Bean, an orthopedic surgeon, said he considered beginning a practice in other American cities but that northern Davis County has always been home to me and I love it. He joined the Tanner medical staff last month. Dr. Bean graduated from Davis High School in 1968 and attended the University of Utah and the universitys orthopedist at Eglund Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. HE IS married to the former Jolynn Hollist, Kaysville. The couple has six children, ages 10 years-- 9 months. Dr. Bean is the son of Charles and Blanche Bean, Layton.
