She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gorringe of 194 West 1075 North in Sunset. THE MOMENT for Education is the theme for this the 35th annual Miss Utah Scholarship Pageant. The winner of the pageant will wear the crown of Miss Utah and will compete for the title of Miss America in Atlantic City, New Jersey in September. Over 60 girls in the state will be: competing for the title which carries with it a scholar16-1- . ship and benefits worth $7,000. Throughout the state of Utah over $60,000 in scholarships are awarded to young talented women. THE PUBLIC is invited to attend the pageant. Prelimin-- , ary competition will be June 8 at 8 p.m. with tickets costing $3. Final competition 16-1- will be June 19 at 8 p.m. with tickets costing $7.50.
