Rosewood Lane, Layton. ANNA GEERTSEN Bennett is the daughter of Oscar and Inabelle Buckingham Geert-seShe was raised in Ogden. Waynard is the son of William E. and Melzina Burton Bennett. He has lived nearly his entire life in Kaysville. He served in law enforcement for 48 years. He worked for Layton city and for the highway patrol. He is now a baliff in the Davis County courts. , WAYNARD AND Anna were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 20, 1932. They are active members of the Kaysville 19th Ward and have served in many church capacities. They are the parents of two sons and three daughters, Noall J. Bennett and Douglas Bennett, both of Layton. Mrs. Jack (Barbara) Robins, Broomfield, Colo.; Mrs. Vera (Jeanne) Flint, Renton, Wash.; Mrs. Bob (Debbie) Thomock, Layton. Prenuptial parties were THE BRIDE wore a full length gown of polysheer chiffon and chantilly lace accented with pearls. Her bouquet was a mixture of spring flowers. Attending the bride were Cindy Sandall and Colleen Olsen. The flower girl was Andrea Hitchcock. They wore long gowns of pastel shades and carried matching spring flowers. THE BRIDES mother wore lavendar lace and the grooms mother chose a gown of peach organdy. Their corsages were white gardenias accented with matching spring colors. Best man duties were performed by Mark Graves with Stephen Sandall and Matt Graves as the ushers. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Marlene H. Sandall and David L. Sandall, Layton. She graduated from Layton High School and attended the University of Utah and was affiliated with Delta Delta Delta Sorority. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Graves of Ogden. He graduated from Weber High School and Weber State College and is a systems analyst at KALL Radio, Salt Lake City. THE NEWLYWEDS will make their home in Salt Lake City. TAMMY RIOS SOMETHING new to this special day this year will be a fun and run and walk contest. The race will commence promptly at 7:30 a.m. at the park. The distance for the runners will be five miles and for the walkers three miles, accurately measured. Some of the prizes will be medals, to the top three division winners both male and females, ribbons from the fourth to eighth place and a pair of running shoes to the top male and female runners. There will also be special awards given to top walkers and wheelchair competitors. Carter, a graduate of Clearfield High School, has been awarded a four-yea- r Air Force ROTC scholarship at Utah State University. DOUGLAS plans to major in mechanical engineering and would like to work in the Air Force as an applied research engineer, an Air Force news release says. The scholarship Douglas has been awarded will pay for all his tuition, books and fees plus a $100 monthly stripend. Douglas plans to begin his studies at USU this fall.
