Medals (alias Wes Usher) started in the entertainment field at nine years old. He is a musician, comic, impersonator and magician. He spent eight years entertaining troops as a Marine and worked in Vaudeville and Burlesque. Currently, he has been working State Fairs across the United States and appears as Master of Ceremonies on several television and radio shows. Medals and his wife, Mildred, (Me Too) donate hundreds of hours each year to civic clubs and charitable organizations. The Ushers are visiting the area from Florida and have scheduled performances at Layton Hills Mall at 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 Saturday, May 8 on Center Court. The Kaysville 4th Ward MIA sponsored a youth talent recognition night on Wedens-da- y evening. Brent Nybo, Todd Lewis and Chris Cottrell all received their Duty To God awards recently. Mr. and Mrs. Craig Taylor and two children of Provo have moved back to Kaysville to make their home for the summer. Mrs. Elaine Cullimore was a guest at the Clearfield Literary Club in Ogden Wednesday evening. The club held their guest night at the Francisco 161. Charter Number LITERARY WINNERS Mall banquet room. Mrs. Cullimore presented the program on historical events during the year 1843. Members of the Oakleaf Camp of DUP met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Beulah Bushnell with Mrs. Betty Francom cohostess. The lesson was given by Mrs. Clara Krebs. Mrs. JoAnn Sprague entertained the Mt. View Neighborhood Birthday Club at her home April 29. Mrs. Mary Walters assisted. Mrs. Leola Prigmore gave a slide presentation on Alaska.
