Dean Egbert of the Davis County Sheriff's Department. All four cases are currently under inves- tigation. ON NOV. 5, William Nor1956 West 2300 North, Clinton, reported to sheriff's ton, office that unknown youths had entered his property while across the road from the entrance to Howards Slough. Mrs. Vollmer was able! to cast her vote in the general election for the very first; time. MRS. VOLLMER received her citizenship into the United States on August 17, 1976. She is sb very proud of being a i new citizen in the United States, and was most anxious to be able to vote on this day. She says that the American government and the leaders here, along with the American people have done such a great deal for her country. She is so desirable to be a good citizen, and wants so much for America to always be proud of her. MRS. VOLLMER was formerly from Viet Nam. She has a living mother, and also some brothers and sisters who are still in Viet Nam. She is very concerned about their welfare. She is unable to receive any communication from them in any way. This has all come about since the Communist took over Viet Nam. HANG Thanh has a brother whose name is Tam, he was able to come to America when the Viet Nam refugees came but has to wait for another five years before he can become an American Citizen. Mrs. Vollmer was engaged as a seamstress while in her native country. She says that they never do use patterns there, but rather cuts and sews from the measurements of the person for whom they are sewing for. SHE STILL enjoys sewing very much and makes all of her own clothes, as well as those of her children. Mrs. Vollmer also is an outstanding knitter, and does beautiful embroidery work.
