PLEASAN- T- As we enjoy the many celebrations commemorating holidays this a concerned month, citizen thought it would be a good idea to supply rules from the Department of Defense for proper flag flying etiquette. The first thing pointed out is that there is more to flying the flag than just running it up a pole. If the flag is flown from a staff, the union (or stars) should be at the staffs peak. If hung on a wall, the stars should be positioned at the top, and to the observers left side, never upside down.
