PLEASAN- T- Sanpete Valley Hospital welcomes Dr. Gus Pendleton to the medical team serving the hospital and surrounding IHC Health Centers. this time. Dr. Pendleton graduated from the University of Utah Medical School three years ago, then went on to specialize in family practice. He served a residency at McKay Dee Hospital. Dr. Pendleton and his wife Kristina have decided that people here are the friendliest neighbors three-ye- ar theyve ever had. They like living in a place that reminds them of "Main Street, USA at Disneyland," and hope that the comparison doesnt sound too corny. Their daughter, son, Kassidy, and Zachary have already made new friends and are looking forward to school this fall. When asked what it was like to be raising a family while going to medical school and through residency, Dr. Pendleton reminisced about studying at home, with his children climbing on his back to five-year-o- ld play "dead horse" while he studied. "It was the only way I could interact with my family, so I studied at home," he said, smiling at the memories. Play will begin on the Wasatch Academy Courts 8 a.m., Thursday, July, 18. Singles, doubles and mixed doubles for boys, girls, men and women will be offered. An eight-gam- e preset with no-a- d scoring and tiebreaker at eight will be played. Finals will be played at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 20, at the Golding Court.
