Clark Deborah Joan Clark, 19, of 1005 W., Clearfield, died Saturday, May 17, 1986 in Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of injuries suffered in a motorcycle S. 1000 accident. She was born Aug. 18, 1966 at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas, a daughter of George A. Jr. and Janice Sue Gray Clark. She was a member of the Catholic Church and graduated from Clearfield High School. She had lived in Kansas; Littleton, Colo, and Clearfield. Surviving are her mother and stepfather. Janice and James Buck, Clearfield; two brothers and two sisters, Timothy Buck and David Buck, both of Clearfield; Mrs. Mike (Kathy) Silcott, Ogden; Angela Brewer, Clearfield. Also surviving are her grandpa rents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Gray, Roy and Mrs. Vivian Mae Clark, Salina, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, May 21 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Layton. Interment in Ogden City Cemetery under direction of Myers Mortuary in Roy. Appointed Robert J. Frazier, son of James G. and Nora Frazier of 929 Amth-ys- t Street, Layton, has been appointed a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. The new officer completed training in management, leadership, human relations and NCO responsibilities, before being awarded this status. Gordon, Layton, died Thursday, May 15 in Bountiful of heart failure. She was born Sept. 29, 1907 .in Layton, a daughter of Joseph H. and Sara Elizabeth Weaver Allen. She married Parley Green Aug. 28, 1926, in Brigham City. She had been a lifelong resident of Layton. She attended Layton public schools and Davis High School. She contributed for years to the LDS Church. She enjoyed flowers and had won five awards from the State of Utah for her flowers. She was a member of the Sigma Chi Mothers Club. Surviving are her husband of Layton, and one son, Val A. Green, Beaverton, Ore.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held May at the Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary. Pres. She married Clarence Peter BairdJune25, 1914 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Jan. 27, 1946. 10 years, Roy for 43 years. She graduated from Box Elder High School. She was a member of the LDS Church where she served in the Primary, YWMIA and Relief Society. She had also served in the Stake Relief Society Presidency for several years. Surviving are two sons, Gaylen Hurd Baird, Roseville, Calif.; Robert Dale Baird, Centerville; eight grandchildren j ; and 10 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter and two sons. Services were held May 23 at Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary with Bishop David Adams offi-- ; ciating. She married Golden Merlin Voss Aug. 21, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared in Salt Lake City and lived there for 23 years. She lived in Roy for six years and the past 33 years in Layton. She graduated from South High School. She was a member of the Layton 12th Ward where she served as Relief Society visiting teacher. Primary and Sunday School teacher. She had also worked in the Merlin Louis Voss, Ogden; Mrs. Monty (April Lee) Hawks, Libert-y- ; eight grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother and one sister, Rea Marie Anderson, both of Salt Lake City. Services were held May 6 at the Lindquists Layton Mortuary with Bishop Robert W. Winegar officiating. He has earned his Arrow of Light, Faith in God and On My Honor Awards. He appreciates all his religious and scout leaders who have helped him achieve these goals. s. Roger L. Dorius has received his Double Gold Palm Award after receiving his Eagle Scout at the age of 13 on June, 17, 1984, and his Bronze, Gold, Silver and Double Bronze Palm Awards. He has earned a total of 46 merit badges, each Palm requiring five above Eagle. Roger served as senior patrol leader and is a member of Order of the Arrow. He has earned his Arrow of Light, Faith in God. On My Honor and Duty to God Awards. Roger is 15 and a ninth grade high honor student at Kaysville Junior High School. He participates in music, sports and enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, water skiing and camping. Roger was recently honored for maintaining a 4.0 grade point and highest citizenship for the school year. He received the Outstanding Woodwind Award for band and an award for sight reading at district competition. He is appreciative of all his religious and scout leaders and school teachers. Dorius has been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout in a Court of Honor on April 27. He has earned 30 merit badges. For his Eagle Project, he completed a project for a Davis County family. He is appreciative of assistance from his scoutmsater and father Larry Dorius and his troop, 405, of the Kaysville 20th Ward. Wade is 14 years old and an eighth grade high honor student at Kaysville Jr. High School. He participates in music, sports and enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, water skiing, camping and riding He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dorius. Melba A. George, a Kaysville resident, was cited last week as the Utah Agent of the Year by the Utah Chapter of General Agents and Managers Association. This award was presented at the Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 15 at the University of Utah, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Utah Association of Life Under- writers. This Association represents the approximately 16.000 licensed life insurance agents in Utah. George has been very active in leadership and achievement, in the life insurance industry. During the past year, he has served as president of the Utah Chapter of Chartered Life Underwriters, and as a Director of the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council. He is a member of the prestigious Presidents Club of Beneficial Life Insurance Company, and is a Qualifying and Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Deon Lomax installed new officers of the Sego Lily Camp with Delaine Hansen, captain: Lila Burnett, first vice president : Nona Parker, 2nd vice president and lla Mae Gerber, secretary. Delaine Hansen gave the story from the museum on "Thomas Bullock Barnes" and Abraham Hunsakers Piano." L.ila Burnett gave the lesson on "Early Stories." Clearfield Job Corps Center. Mr. Mildon has been an autobody repair instructor in the Vocational Programs area at the Center since April, 1985. Before coming to Job Corps, Mr. Mildon received many shop improvements awards from Hill Air Force Base. He graduated from Weber High School and received a certificate of completion from Weber State College in auto-bod- y reconditioning. When asked what he enjoys most about working at the Clearfield Job Corps Center, he replied, I find an inner satisfaction because I'm helping the youth of today accomplish a goal; to learn a vocation in order to help and sup- port themselves. In his leisure time he enjoys hunting, fishing and camping with his wife, Helen and their seven DEE MILDON children. They make their home South Weber. CJCC honors employee JoAnne Musser, a high school instructor, has been named Outstanding Employee of the Month at the Clearfield Job Corps Center. Ms. Musser graduated from East High in Salt Lake City; obtained a B.S. and M.A. in mathematics from the University of Utah, and in 1983 she received a Doctor of Education in Curriculum Development and supervision from Utah State University. When asked what she likes best about working at Clearfield, she replied, Working at Clearfield Job Corps has given me an opportunity to teach and develop curriculum in many different areas. I am also impressed by the cooperation and willingness of the students to learn. Ms. Musser enjoys reading and curriculum planning in her leisure time. She resides in Salt Lake City.
