Show MAY Pag 4 28, 1986 X Stylists attend conference i - & LAYTON The style directors of one of northern Utahs largest schools beauty have recently returned from what's considered the nations largest hair style and beauty show. a breakfast at the the bridegrooms parents, given by Mr. and Mrs. Ronald F. Jones, Cedar City. The newlyweds were honored at a reception that night at the Mountain Road Chapel, Fruit Heights, The couple was also feted on May 17 at the Cedar North Stake House in Cedar City. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. McBride, Fruit Heights, has attended Southern Utah State College and graduated Chuck-A-Ram- LINDA Bitter, styles director, and Teresa Everett Reeve, assistant styles director for Fran Brown and Company College of Beauty and Hair Styling Salons, attended the West Coast Spring Style and Beauty Show in San Francisco. The two oversee educational needs for a staff of 35 at salons ii Kaysville. Layton and Clearfield and the College of Beauty-Carein Layton. well-know- style leaders in the nation gave classes. Stressing a need to keep current in hairstyling and related areas, Mrs. Reeve said "Utah is quite current with the national trends. Through the media, particularly, people are picking up on styles so much quicker, and wearing them." AND AS Mrs. Bitter noted of cosmetology's image among the public, "hairstylists are no longer looked down upon. Its now very upgraded. She coordinates educational classes for the staff, often teaching them, in topics such as advanced haircutting. She has always been interested in hair, from dolls to cats and attended cosmetology school following graduation from Ogden High School. She is based at the Layton salon. KIRK E. After a honeymoon to China, Hong Kong, Korea, Hawaii and Los Angeles, they will make their home in Layton. Finishes basic Airman Stephen M. Findlay, son of John S. Findlay of 417 N. 3500 W., West Point, has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Tex.
