Pleasant on June 29, 1899, the son of Andrew and Christina Mattision Larsen. He married Eva Ericksen April 30, 1919, in the Manti LDS Temple. He was educated in Mt. Pleasant schools, and was extremely interested in music. He organized a bandof his own and played in the State Military Band atthe age of 16. He was a veteran of World War I. He was the sheep business with his father, and was also in merchandising in Mt. Pieasant and ville. He and his family moved to Provo in 1934 where he became affiliated with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. He started with the company as an agent, and after 10 years became assistant manager of the Provo district. He retired from the company in 1963 and was affiliated with Ideal National Life InsuranceCo.until his death, He was a member of the LDS Heis survived byhis wife; two sons, Loren C. Larsen,Salt Lake City, and Stanley E. Larsen, Ogden; two daughters, Mrs. Homer (Jean) Pitts, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. John (Carolyn) Borra, West Covina, Calif.; three brothers, J.
