Mrs. Sylvia McBride Hamblin was born April 27, 1908, in Cache County. The daugh- ter of H. Odean and Floradell Obray McBride, she attended school in Cache and Box Elder Counties. She was married April 8, 1926, to Ervin M. Hamblin in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Her husband died Nov, 22, 1969. Mr. and Mrs. Hamblin lived in Clearfield where their home was built in 1926, and where, Mrs. Hamblin still lives today. PINE BOARDS Donald Thomas Wright is to receive his Eagle award in Troop 921. Wright is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wright of West Bountiful. He was honored at a special court of honor March 10 in the West Bountiful Seventh Ward building. Wright has also earned Faith in God, On My Honor and Arrow of Light awards. He is a member of his Troop leadership , corps. Wright said he was especially pleased with the results of his Eagle project. It involved handicapped awareness in West Bountiful. He interviewed some handicapped individuals, several local and state agencies for the handicapped and some West Bountiful officials. He made a 17. page handout which gave an overview of handicapped peoples needs. He also suggested ways which the city. could assist in meeting those needs ' He printed copies and distributed the handout to handicapped individuals and city officials. He also set up a display of the information he collected about schools, laws, agencies and appliances. He placed the display at the city office and at his church. Wright then made a list of suggestions for 22 other projects and submitted it tp the Scout leaders in the district.
