Mike and Boyd Larson, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Larson of Centerville, organized an effort to raise money to purchase a snowmobile to be used by the handicap program at Winter Park, Colo., ski resort. The Larson family and Scouts of Scout Troop 254 heard about the program for handicapped individuals from Davis County residents, Alex and Pam Carr and their son, Brad, who has participated in the program. The project was taken on by five young Scouts who earned the price of the snowmobile through work projects and contributions from companies and individuals.
