Upon its inception, built and maintained by Utah Copper, it grew right along with the town. A large greenhouse was constructed where the Lions Club building now stands. This act replaced such other programs as Urban Renewal, Model Homes, Neighborhood Facilities, and Open Space. Now its tax money that comes back to the people to be utilized for local projects. Residents of Copperton are eagerly looking forward to having their park com- pleted and ready for use next summer.
