Southern Utah Chorale, Cedar High School Auditorium, 8 p.m. Turkey Trot slated The SUSC Intramural Turkey Trot on Nov. 21, at the will take place football field. There is an entry fee of $1. Entry forms may be picked up from Tom Kingsford in the physical education office. Entries will be accepted until Nov. 18. Prizes will be awarded. Health lecture slated For the Perspectives on Health lecture series, sponsored by the SUSC Womens Resource Committee, SUSC associate professor of biology Joann S. Bowns will discuss, The Gene Who Saw Tomorrow. Bowns taught a popular womens issues course on biomedical advances last spring here. Moon show is on The free Don Dixon Space Art, show continues at the Ashcroft Observatory, each Monday and Friday at 7 p.m. This weeks observational session tonight will be Waxing, gibbeous moon under different magnifications. The session begins around 7:20 p.m. Brazilians coming An international basketball game will take place on campus on Nov. 22. SUSC will play the Sirio Snorts Club of Brazil at 7:30 p.m. in the War Memorial Fieldhouse. Due to the nature of the contract with the Brazilians, admission charges will be made for all seats so season tickets and SUSC activity cards will not be honored at this game. Admission is $3 for reserved seats and $2 for general seating. Elementary and middle school students admissions cost $1. |
