I think 65 degrees is just Daniels right for reds. Keep a flexible wine thermometer handy to check that temperature alter bringing a bottle up from a cool cupboard or basement room. White wines seem best to me at 55 degrees, which is slightly above the setting on most refrigerators. Champagne may be a little cooler but so much for two certainly not less than 45 degrees hours in an ice bucket. Traditional Beverage Speaking of champagne, you may want to serve some on New Years Eve. It is the traditional beverage for festive occasions and is the only drink that can be appreciated by all five senses. Unfortunately, it has become fashionable to serve it in stemmed saucers rather than in the tall tulips or flutes which do so much tc increase your pleasure in consuming and serving it.
