Show - Tho Salt Lake Tribune, Smwtay, December 28, 1975 , ' j ,5 Those subtle beauty tricks that work like magic By Jennifer Anderson Little things can mean a lot. A basic makeup can be given just that extra touch that makes it unusual, exotic or just reveal a good feature in a new way. The magicians call it sleight of hand." Learn some of these beauty tricks they can be "quicker than the eye. Igf t DEAR JENNIFER: I saw a girl at a party with a blue liner f -along the inside of the lower lasbes. She wore very little makeup bet just that one touch made her eyes unbelievably blue. I have blue eyes, too. Could I try this? Pam C., Davenport, Iowa. DEAR PAM: Why not? You never know until you try. I recommend it only for the blue-eyeIt should pick up the color and also make the whites of the eyes even whiter. Photography models have known this trick for a long time. Use a blue eyeliner pencil and run it just inside the lower lashes. Finish it off with black mascara, top and bottom. Here are a few more of those quick, subtle touches that do a lot. Use a deeper tone of your eye shadow for an arc at the crease of the lid. Paint a thin line of a deeper shade of lipstick just at the center of your mouth to outline the edge. Dab gloss on your mouth and use the leftover tor a spot on each cheek. The repeat of color brings the whole face into focus. Taa Foundation Smooth on a deep tan foundation in the cleavage between the breasts lor a fuller look. g Use a bronze stick wPh pearlized sheen to the top of your shoulders whe . wearing sleeveless or shoestring strap dresses. Use a little foundation makeup on your hands if they look red. Rub it with a terry cloth towel to take off all the excess (so it wront rub olf Almond Shape Cut old eyelashes up in 'ittle clumps and use them just at the outside corner of your eyes lot- - a turued-up- , almond shape. Brush the hair of your eyebrows up and hold them in place with a little neutral mustache wax. It gives the whole eye area a lift. Use a leg makeup or cover-ustick under stockings if you have problems with veins on your legs. Slimmer Legs To make your legs look slimmer, blend a tan shade of makeup down the outside of the call for leg contouring. Heres a fabulous hairdo you can achieve in two seconds: Pin on a tali or wig and add a beret. That way you dont have to show any of your own hair to take the time to cover the joining line. To put makeup on taster, use more moisturizer. The finished job will be lighler, but it will spread much faster. If you break a nail, camouflage it with a false tingernail filed to match the length of your own. DEAR JENNIFER: I have pierced ears and usually wear gold hoops, hut I saw a girl who had three tiny rings running up the outside of the car. Id like to have it done. Is it a new lad? Cynthia, Chicago, 111. DEAR CYNTHIA: Its a fad. T ears pierced three times. Three permanent holes and possibly sears, After the novelty wears off. your ears could look like a pin cushion. On the right person, its an exotic, look, but I dont think its worth it. It means having your s Duke-Cai- iz Lou Betty Duke and were in the William J.
