Show The Payson Chronicle, April 1, 1998, Page 7 China Place Setting Competition Underway lot of time, talent and effort into these place settings and all need to be congratulated for Orr s Gift Gallery is excited about the China Place Setting Competition now in process. There are six wonderful entrants. The following high school students have entered their place settings: Josh Johnson, "Beat," Its What for Dinner; DeLynn Hatch, "Angel Rose"; Kira White, "Afternoon in the Garden"; Alisha Hansen, "Dinner on the Trail"; Josie Walker, "Orient Express", and Kira White, "A Stitch in Time." Just by the titles you can tell they are all wonderful displays. The high school held their own preliminary competition and they selected the entrants who then moved on to the competition at Orrs Gift Gallery. The students have put in a their efforts. There will also be a "Peoples Choice Award, which will also be awarded a gift certificate. THURSDAY -- April 9 April Birthday Party 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Square Dance Class TIVI WOMENS SOFTBALL DUE APRIL 20 Sign-up- s and team rosters for the womens softball teams can be picked up at the Payson Recreation Office, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. They will be due in the Payson Recreation Office on Monday, April 20. The sponsor fee will be $150 per team. Player fees will be $200 per team.
