Worthen 384-233- 8 Robert and Don Rish were home to spend Mothers Day weekend with their mother, Mrs. Larene Fish, who has been in the hospital but is better and back to work. The students of South Emery High and San Rafael Elementary spent Friday afternoon in a clean up project. The State road was divided up and each class under the supervision of their teacher went along the road and cleanded up all the beautification that had been carelessly thrown along the highway. These young people and their instructors are to be highly complimented. Mr. and Mrs. Barry Conover and son from Provo were home for the weekend at the home of parents, Clyde and Alice Rue P. Ware, industrial arts teacher at Emery High, shows one of the four experience stations used to introduce electronics studies. Two students are assigned to each station. Each has a work book and text book to use as guides in a learning experience. One student, Clyde Magnuson, has completed a radio demonstration panel similar to a jumbo model hanging on the wall. Available are five oscilloscopes used to study electric waves in various frequencies, measure voltage, trace audio and electrical signals. The electronics program is the newest to be included in Emery High curriculum. Mrs. Jackie Sparks from Iowa is spending several days at the home of her parents Mr. and Drivers license C P. The Relief Society prepared the dinner. The The delightful program was under the direction of Mrs. Maribelle Wareham. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Cox and visiting Phillip were their children during the week. Lloyd has been ill but is much improved. The dosing social of Relief Society will be held May 30. An outstanding program has been prepared and refreshments will be served. Relief Society will not be held only once a month during the summer months. Mr. Milel Ralphs was home to spend Mothers Day with his mother, Elaine and Max Ralphs. Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Barton were very happy to have Steven home for the weekend from Salt Lake. The Darrel Stevens family joined other members of their family for an outing up Huntington Canyon during the weekend. Guy and Justine Conover visited with the Preston Thompson family during the weekend. They also visited Guys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Conover, before returning to Salt Lake.
