The name of the shop was Bills Bells. Bill specialize in the building arid selling of bells. He had large church bells that went Dong, Dong; Small bells for school teachers, Ding, Ding; smaller bells for doors, Ding, Ding, Ding, and Christmas bells. Inhissmallshopthe sounds of bells rang out all year long. As customers would enter his store, each bell would do its best to over shadow the others, hoping to be purchased. Every bell, that is, except Teenie Tiny Bell. He was H SS-- J ft 4 so small that no matter how hard he tried, he could never out ding the others Ding Ding Ding, Was all he COUld do. year long he would chime, being out sounded by all the other All bells in the shop. Astheyearwent by, churches bought big bells, schools bought smaller bells, grandmas bought crystal bells for their shelves, and children bought bells for their bikes. Teenie Tiny Bell remained unsold, and often unheard. Every once in a while a shopper, looking forasmall D mm best impression of a happy fear that it is just too small foryou!Too small?Teenie Tine Bell told himself, Heres my big chance. No bell. When suddenly, just before the shop owner locked the door, who burst bell could be too small for Santa Claus! He shook off in, why Santa Claus of course! Quick, shop keeper, have you got any bells can buy? Dasher threw a bell a few miles back and it just doesnt I sound right. Im sorry Santa, the shop keeper said. only have one bell, and the dust as Santa Clause reassured the shop keeper, Why No bell could be too small for St. Nick! Ding, Teenie Tiny Ding," Ding, Bell rang. Santa put I him closer to his ear and I shook again. f) Ding, Ding, Ding! Teenie was putting out his best effort. Santa Claus looked at Teenie Tiny, polished him up, raised him to his ear once again and shook. Ding, said Teenie loud as he Tiny Bell, ever sounded. With that Santa Ding, Ding, as Claus putTeenieTiny Bell back on the shelf, looked at the shop keeper and said, Your right, he is just too small. 'r.jP fy bell for a window decoration would pick up Teenie Tiny Bell and listen to the Ding, Ding, Ding, but, with head shaking, would put him back in his resting place and say, A pretty bell, but it is just too small. Well, as you could 1 guess, Christmas time finally rang in. (Of course you knew that, this is, after all, a Christmas story.) Teenie Tiny bell found himself all alone on the shelves of the small store located north of Billings, Montana, but south of Anchorage, Alaska.
