Show 3B The SunNews. Tuesday. December 24. 1991 State Park passes make great gifts anytime Christmas Message from Snow College Stake Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to our students, members and friends of the Snow College Stake. This is a very special time of year, a time to look back and reminisce, a time to anticipate a good new year, and a time to remember the true significance of Christmas. When we celebrate Christmas let us enter into the real spirit of the occasion. Let us not merely consider it a holiday time for giving presents away, but let us think of it for what it really is, a day in which to consider the mission of Jesus Christ. Christmas should remind us first of all that there is a God, that He lives, and that Jesus Christ is His Son. We should remember that God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whoso believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life, and that to believe means to obey. The real purpose of Christmas observance should be to remind us State Park passes make great gifts any time of the year. If you have a person on your gift list who enjoys boating, picnicking, swimming, or learning about Utahs history, the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation may have the perfect gift the 1992 Annual ark and Family Park permits are now available. The Annual permit allows the card holder and up to seven guests traveling in the same private vehicle access during the day to any of his birth, life, the atonement, and of what we must do in order to participate fully in its benefits. Christmas and New Year Resolutions are a time of to the cause of Christ, a time for determining if our lives are in harmony with his teachings. The blessings of the atonement are the greatest blessings of life. We should be happy and thankful for these blessings. Christmas should be a happy time. But let us not permit the worldly customs of the day to blind us to the real meaning of the occasion. Let us always remember that Christmas means Christ, that Christ means salvation, and that salvation comes by obedience. May the blessings come to you and yours.
