Wed., Mar 1-- . 199Q Annual All 2-- A A, 21 Star Game, Mar. 24 Many of the most outstanding senior players of the 1A and 2 A schools m Utah will compete in the Annual All Star Invitational Basketball Tournament, March 24 at South Sevier High School. Games begin at 5:30 and 7 p.m. The tournament is sponsored by the Monroe Players include Shannon Allen, Tammie Hcnrie.and Cherish Tcbs, and Gary Leach, Panguitch. Crystal Veterc, Green River, Jennifer Jones, North Summit; Vickie Durfee, Wayne; Kon Sorensen, Valley and 1A state champions Tern Randall, Juice Tait and Sue Shurtliff, all Enterprise. Wade Fiscus of Morgan will coach the girls 2A invitational, consisung of Lori Parsons, South Sevier, Paula Pnnce, Laune Wilson, both Hurricane; Rcda Bcnnaly, Juab; Shana Russell, North Sanpete; Noe Yamaguchi and Alisa Wright, both Millard, and 2A state champions Emily Russell, Lisa London and Jenifer Whimpcy, all Morgan Lions Club. The games have proven to be some of the most outstanding m the state, according to Russ Nielsen, co chairman of the event. Events are planned for participants throughout the day, including a luncheon. Cheerleaders of championship teams are invited to participate. The Most Valuable Players will be named and each player will receive a plaque, Nielsen added. A ticket admits entrance to both games. Senior Citizens - we wish more of you would take advantage of the wonderful Noon meal served Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Center. The Salina Lions Club at their meeting of March 14, were treated to an outstanding program. Program chairman, Wayne Burr, introduced the Durfees - Bardett, Vicky Durfee Barney, and Monica Durfee Christensen.
