Dad came and picked them up Sunday for a trip to their Henry Mountain Wolverton property to collect water samples fur a geology project, Greg ia a geologist for Getty Oil. Mr. and Mra. Harold Ekker have returned home from St. George where they spent the w inter. Harold kept medical appointments in Salt Lake City on Friday. Grandsons, Steven and Keven Hatch assisted in their move home. Mr. and Mra. Craig Johnson are making their home in Hanksville. Mra. Johnson is the former Shelly Ekker, daughter of Mr. and Mra. Dennis Ekker, who married Craig in Price in March. Craig ia the son of Mr. and Mra. Dale Juhnson, Fern Hunt Murrisun w as ruslied to Utah Valley Hospital Thursday evening after she fell in her yard. Site recently had surgery on Iter knee and the fall may have injured the knee further. A trucker passing on the highway saw Iter and stopped to I trip and aummuned her brother, Carl who took her to the hospital. Her husband, Ted is in St. George constructing homes and was informed of the accident, Broca Banner, a senior at Ticuboo is visiting her dad. Mont Banner in Hanksville weekends and is employed at the Red Rock restaurant. Joe Springer and Allie Brown conducted EMT training sessions on the weekend in Hanksville which included extraction. They were assisted by Sheriff Steve Brown. Graveside services were held tor the one month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Wells. Aaron Tyler Wells was pronounced dead by Dr. Keith Hooker after all efforts to recuscitate the baby failed. The child was born March 14 at the Gunnison Valley Hospital. The cause of death was SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Funeral services were conducted oy first councilor, Vance Morrill. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Jensen, Eventa Fullmer, Derin, Shana and Ann Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Coates attended church in Richfield where Martin Jensen was ordained an Elder. They also called on Maurice Fullmer to wish him Happy Birthday. Visiting the Howard Simkins were her sisters, Gay, Cleone and Edith, Salt Lake City; Barbara, Cedar City; Reva and Ramona, St. George. Mary Fullmer accompanied by her mom, Louise Bay, Marysvale and the Robert Bay family, Las Vegas, Nev. visited in Canyon Lakes, Calif, with the Tom Bay family. Marie Jensen was hostess at the Brenda Robinson home to a Happy Birthday bunko party for DyAnn Westwood, Brenda Robinson, Tina Sudweeks, Pam Lewis and Mary Ella Sudweeks also Marilyn Jensen, Janis Nalwalker, Lynda Norton, Loana Price, Afton Jensen and Georgi Dalton, Junction. Metta Jane Whittaker, Pearl Gottfredson and Kathy Riddle, Cedar City vivsted Eva Dean Zingleman and wished her Happy Birthday." Mr. and Mrs. George Whittaker joined Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Anderson, Ephraim and went to Portland, Ore. for the wedding of Jan Davis, daughter of Joy Davis and the late Delmar Davis. They also visited Mona Lous sister, Geniel. A car accident near Page, Ariz. took the life of Marion W'ardle as she was returning home after visiting her children in the Phoenix, Ariz. area. Funeral services were held in Mesa, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Dahl Westwood the Gossenor Cheese attended luncheon held at the Rodeway Inn in Richfield. Lucille Fullmer attended funeral services in Panguitch for Mary Lee. Brenda Robinson and Mary Ella Sudweeks visited in Antimony with Arlene Savage. Albert and Thayne LeFevre went to visit Clayton to California LeFevre. They report that Clair OA7G OCMOTODDO poem, a letter to the child from his grandmother, Mrs. Susan Wells was read by Bill Wells and grandmother, Mrs. Marilyn Sellers, led the congregation in singing, I Am A Child of God". The grave was dedicated by William W. Wells. Attending funeral services for Aaron Wells were Alan and Diana Tracy, Eastland; Mr. and Mrs. Bret (Brenda Wells) Maughn, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Albrecht, Fremont; Mr. and Mia. Wade Sellers, St. George, Grandparents of the child are Mr. and Mrs. Rod Sellers and Mr. and Mrs. LaVor Wells, and are Mr. and Mrs. William W. Wells, Idaho and Mrs. Arleen Sellers. Dr. Keith Hooker and Mike Johnson, Provo were speakers at EMT classes over the weekend. Dr. Hooker, a former Hanksville Clinic physician along with the late Dr. Davies, is an emergency room physician at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. Mike a finance officer at Trade Tech in Provo and an EMT lectured on mental instructor, health problems, environmental injuries. Slide programs were presented by each.
