Tlx children submitted their ideas fur the mascot and colors then the room mothers chuse the top three ideas from each class, The first place winners from each class will now be displayed and the studentbody will vote to decide what the mascot and colors will be. The results will be announced next week, A motorcycle trials meet was held in Cedar City this weekend. Those competing from Lua were Thomas Peterson, Ctaig Peterson. Matthew Chappell. Blaine Chappell, George Chappell, Kent Jackson and boys and the sons of the Thomas Petersons. Willard Bass and Paul Taylor were in speakers sacrament meeting in the Loa ward. Mr. and Mrs. Arleen (Loroa) Brown attended a Wheeler Machinery seminar in Richfield and won an all expense paid trip to San Diego, Calif. Kevon Ardell TTiompsun, son of Ardell and Billie Thompson has been called to serve in the England London South LDS mission. During the J9W 85 school year he received the Utah State Farmer degree, was named to the WhosWlio Honor Society, was a member of the and football team slate graduated from Richfield High School and Seminary. He attended Snow College fall and winter terms, where be was on the 1985 Snow College Junior College football national championship team.
