Show I r V AJ Corinne Comments the gaiety, lights, friends, coming, and going, presents, gifts and laughter has come and gone. But, it will long be remembered as a happy experience. Many people in Corinne awoke Christmas day to find items of food storage under their trees, or an energetic puppy. Then stories have been shared about the babe in a manger and pictures on cards have been exchanged with pleasant scenes and gentle beasts. Now it is time to draw our Bicentennial year to a close and look to our New Years resolutions. : Keep Resolution Jean Nelson, however, will keep one resolution she made about ten years ago on their farm. Usually Grant or one of the children feed the animals. Yet, this one charming spring day, Jean discovered herself in charge of the task. She was merrily giving the sheep their rolled oats, when the Rambouil-le- t ram decided to challenge her authority. He charged. She had been paying no attention to him so was surprised to find herself flat on the ground. Not liking her present resting position, she arose, only to be knocked to the good earth again. Once more she brought herself to a standing position and once more she was rammed into the dirt. Lying there with a sore chest, she realized everything happens in threes. She thought, Ill just stay here and play dead. That old ram stared at her, but she didnt budge. That was good enough for his ego. He left triumphant. When the wasnt looking she crawled away, promising herself always to keep a safe distance or plenty of sheep between them. It was an inspirational time shared by all. Holiday visitors at the home of Eunice E. Monson and son Charles Monson, were Judy Wilson and children Timothy, Kathleen and Ronald. Gayle B.
