Ford and family at their condominium at Vail, Colo, are Mr. and Mrs. James E. Brown and daughters Jennifer and Kimberly and sons Rick and Christopher. They have spend the past several years together during te holiday season skiing on the slopes of Vail in addition to attending dinner parties and receptions. Mr. and Mrs. Con Hansen are spending the Christmas holiand days with their daughter Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Mary) Mendoza and three daughters at Mission Viejo, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gephart and family entertained at a family dinner party at their home on Christmas Day. GuesU included Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gephart and daughter Susan and son Paul of Bountiful, Mrs. Fenton Leatham of North Hollywood, Calif., Mrs. N. Don Thor-nle- y of Smithfield and Mrs. Jennie Gephart of Garland. Mrs. Jerry Roberts "It's fun making trains" Good Cooks She deals in 'trains' son-in-la- w by Flo Munson the little train is coming down the Choo-Cho- o track! Its loaded with colorful candy goodies. The track is in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Chert Manning) Roberts in Tremonton. And similiar trains made by Cheri may also be found in homes of friends and neighbors of whom Cheri is fond. It's fun making these little trains" Cheri told me. The cars are made of different varieties of cookies. There are cocoanut bars, short bread square cookies and round chocolate filled cookies for wheels. The hubs of the wheels re a small dot of white icing centered with a red hot. The engine has Life Savers for a smoke stack and light on front. Each car is loaded with bright colored candies. The filling consists of one egg white beaten until stiff" Cheri went on. Add powdered sugar and continue beating until stiff enough to hold cookies together. Use a decorater tube. Let It harden. Other guesU were Mr. and Mrs. Dave Thomas of Garland. GifU were exchanged. Ray Hill spent Christmas in Pleasant Grove visiting Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pratt and Glade Hill. Last holiday season we had making trains as a family project and we all made them at the Manning home that was before I was married." Cheri is a new bride! However, I still make them this year Cheri explained. They are so nice and original to give to friends and neighbors you want to remember at holiday time." Cheri is a graduate of Bear River High school and LDS seminary. She was active in FHA. She and Jerry have a small home in Tremonton. She is a teacher in junior Sunday school. Mix together and place in dripper. 2. 1 c. brown sugar, V4 c, walnuts, 1 tsp! cinnamon, PJace on top of first ingredients. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. 3. SAUCE; 1 pkg. brown sugar, Vi sq. margarine or butter. 4 tsp. salt, 3 c. water. 2 T. cornstarch. Stir together and boil 10 min. Pour over Apple Dessert before serving. 1. 2 PEANUT BRITTLE 1 V4 c. sugar, V4 c. white corn syrup, c. water, 1 c. peanuts, 1 T. butter, tsp. vanilla, Up. soda. Cook sugar, syrup and water to soft ball stage. Add peanuts, and continue cooking until syrup is light brown. Give the hard crack test. Remove from heat, add vanilla and butter, then add soda. Other Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Cannon of Rupert. When The Mousetrap" plays Box Elder High school, Jan. one of the characters will be Giles Ralston, owner of the Monkawell Manor tpdge. Giles is being played by Larry at 16-2- 0, Penrod, a senior student at the high school. Penrod is active in technical theatre and is a member of the school stage and sound and light crew. ' The Mousetrap opened at the Ambassadors theatre in London on Nov. 25, 1952, and has been playing ever since. This makes the Agatha Christie my stery the longest running play in the history of modem theatre.
