There was something vaguely familiar about it, however, and instead of calling the Are department, I employed some mental tactics and came up with the thought that I had seen this before. In fact, for some 30 yAars or more! Thats right its deer season again, and Warren has made the familiar announcement he is going to good old Panguitch with his brothers for the big hunt! Now this year, wife Norma has vowed she is not even joing to worry about him! Look at it this way, Norma, that venison is only going to cost about twenty bucks a pound! It was good to see such a large crowd at the annual ward homecoming Saturday evening. Judd and Eve Killpack from Portland, Ore. visited the Ronald Lenoards' and the Dwight Andersons residence last week. They all then visited with Mrs. Killpack in Brigham City. Judd Killpack is Pauline Leonards and Gaynell Andersons youngest brother. They then all traveled to Salt Lake City to visit with Mrs. Edith Burgess. There they had lunch and then they all traveled to the airport to see the Killpacks off. They are on their way to attend a convention in New York. They all had a very lovely visit while they were here. anit-free- Vk New Baby We have a new baby in our town. His name is Rory Dee Andre asen. He was born in the Brigham City Community hospital on Wednesday. He weighed In at 8 pounds and two ounces. He was greeted at home by two others brothers, Branof don and Darin. He is the-soMr. and Mrs. Alan Andreasen. Congratulations to yotir whole , family. The Roy Lewiss were in American Fork last Sunday and Monday. They were there visiting with a niece that just had surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Christensen, Mr.v and Mrs. ..Roger DMUin and'Chvie, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis H. Christensen and children of town and Mrs. Edna Christensen of Brigham City and Mr, and Mrs. Robert Christensen of Hyde Park, all traveled separately to Salt Lake City this past Sunday to attend a farewell for Mr. and Mrs. Warren Conger. They are leaving for a mission in Chili. Mrs. Conger is Chesters sister. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Christensen visited with Mrs. Leonard Meadows and family while there. Mary Ann Meadows from Connecticut was down visiting so they got to visit with her while she was there. Nice Visit CleAnn Duke and grandmother Mrs. Daisy Duke visited last week with Mrs. Ida Christensen. They had a very nice visit while they were here. Dale Paskett of Riverton, Wyo. visited in town With his last week. brother Ken and-wifOther visitors at the Paskett home were Susan and Sylvia Grimmet. Vernell Vanderhoof of Ore. and Glendon Jensen of Layton were visitors of Mrs. LaMar Iverson on Friday of last week. Mrs. Iverson became friends with them when she taught school near Holbrook, Idaho. Vernells paintings are on display at the new Tremonton hospital and there is one at the Foxley real estate Pack 322 initiated ' its activities with its first pack meeting of the season. Terry Dallin and family of Coalville visited on Sunday with her. notes carnival LaMar Iverson has spent all-rig- Laurel class of the A.P.M.I.A. sponsored a film for the family last week. The film that played was Second Time Around. The second year class supplied the film and the first year class supplied the treats that were sold during the film. There was a good turnout for the show, but they hope to get more there for the next one that they have. They will sponsor one show a month so that the families in town can have a good night out with family entertainment. The president of the first year Laurels is Annette Anderson and the president of the second year class is LeAnna Sorenseon. First Year Gina Christensen celebrated her first year birthday on Oct. 6. The meeting finished off with an interesting presentation by John Edwards on the evolution of rochety from ancient China to modern times at Thiokol. Jeffrey Rudd, a student at Weber State college in Ogden, spent Sunday and enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Rulon , by Flo Munson Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Odean Estep attended sacrament meeting in Magna where a homecoming testimonial was held honoring Brother and Sister Rollo Romrell who had returned after fulfilling an LDS mission in Toronto, Canada. Elder Jimmy Estep served in Toronto, Canada before being transfred to Brazil, and was acquainted with Brother and Sister Romrell. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Williams were happy to receive word of the grandson born to Mark and Aloha Williams Petersen of St. John, Idaho Friday. The Petersen's have two small girls at home. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jed Lamb and family in Richmond Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Peterson and granddaughter Angela Dawn Lamb. Mrs. John Peters is receiving medical care in the Valley hospital in Tremonton. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lamb attended a dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Forsberg and family in Fielding Sunday. The occasion was Paul Forsbergs birthday anniversary. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Reese Marble and family of Riverside and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Marble and son Danny of Collinston. Spending the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pierson were Dr. and Mrs. Blaine Pierson and children Kimberly, Bradley and Brett of Kaysville. At Dinner Party Mrs. Nina Lamb joined Mrs. Rudd. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whiting spent Sunday and enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Dan L. Whiting and family in Roy. Highlight of the evening will the drawing for a quilt given away by the PTA as part of fund raising activities. The drawing is slated for 7 p.m. that night and you need not be present to ' win. Students wilt be selling tickets on the quilt beginning Friday. Fourth through sixth grade students will be selling tickets for 25 cents each or five for $1. At the carnival will be food and games and everyone from kids to grandparents are invited to join in the fun.
