October 21, 1976 BOX ELDER JOURNAL. 10 Obituaries jj Brandon Dale Thorsted Brandon Dale Thorsted, son of Lloyd Dale and Karen Dee Andersen Thorsted of Honeyville, died Sunday morning, Oct. 17, 1976, in Brigham City Community hospital after a short illness. He was born April 18, 1975, in Brigham City. The parents are members of the Honeyville LDS ward. Surviving are the parents of Honeyville; three sisters and two brothers, Robert Lloyd Thorsted, Troy Dustinv Thorsted, Michelle K. Thorsted, Dona Lee Thorsted and Stephanie Ann Thorsted, all of Honeyville. Also surviving are the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert A. Thorsted, Honeyville; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin L. Andersen, Poca- tello, Idaho; WITH appreciation at a donation for new band uniforms at Box Elder High school are Earl Swenson, band director, left, and Principal Carroll Nichols, center. The class of 1925 had donated a gift to Box Elder High school. During a recent class reunion, members decided to leave the school with an appropriate gift to enhance the beauty of the school. After conferring with Principal Carroll Nichols, a committee charged with coming up with the gift decided on a painting. They commissioned local artist J. Lanell Foote to paint one of his beautiful landscapes, which was completed recently and presented to Nichols on behalf of the school. The committee had special praise for Foote who practically donated the painting to the A Capitol Dome The dome of the nations capitol in Washington. We wish especially to thank the ward bishopric, the Relief society, our friends, and all others who assisted in any Mrs. Ann Eliza Richins, 92, of Grouse Creek, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1976, at Weber Memorial hospital in Roy. She was born Jan. 1, 1884, in Grouse Creek, a daughter of David Harry and Martha Jane Davis Toyn. She was married to Clarence Charles Richins in Grouse Creek on Dec. 24, 1902. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He died in September of 1950. She was reared in Grouse Creek and later lived in Ogden and Roy. She had been an active member of the LDS church in Grouse Creek. Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Roland Richins, Roosevelt, Calif.; Lorenzo Richins, North Hollywood, Calif.; Mrs. Ina Hadfield, AL STAND UPIf To way. 12 arrested at IMS in liquor store breakln Loader A $25,000 loader was nearly destroyed in a fire at Smoot Farms Wednesday afternoon. Brigham City Fire Chief Tuff Claybaugh said cause of the fire has not yet been determined but about $20,000 damage to the loader was sustained.
