The author has included maps, statistics of the area, hunting license sales and hunter success. Byron Dalrymple, one. of the foremost writers and authorities in the fields of huntf ingand game management, has drawn from his own experiences hunting in virtually every area of the country and on data supplied by game departments. Wilderness Cssklng by Berndt Berglund and Clare E. Bolsby is a book for everyone who spends time in the outdoors on extensive trips, simple camping trips or living in the country. There are instructions on capturing food by hunting or fishing, butchering game and cleaning fish, and Indian and buckskin techniques for cook ing. There are also chapters on' bread baking, soups, wilderness beverages and wildwood seasoning. This is an invaluably handbook for the outdoorsman , part of the audience on hand Saturday for dedication of the new Bear River Valley hospital in Tremonton. Guest speakers for the dedication were Gov. Calvin L. Rampton, Scott S.. Parker, president of Intermountain Health Care, Inc., which has contracted to operate the hospital, and Grant W. Williams, northern Utah representative for Social Security. Governor Rampton who gave his comthe old hospiplete support in tal, gave a short address saying Tremonton was one of the most beautiful and productive communities in the state of Utah. Support sought Melvin Foxley, chairman of the North Elder Community board, who presented the governor, noted Governor Rampton has made a good governor, the only trouble is he is a Democrat and Im a Box Republican. re- sponded saying Its no disgrace being a Republican, just unfortunate. The dedication was by Garland Stake President Ray D. Sorenson. Dr. Dennis Harston, general practitioner, of Milwaukee, Wis., attended and said I am most interested in moving to Tremonton to set up a practice, possibly in August of 1977. Costing $1.5 million the new hospital boasts 17 beds, an intensive unit, an isolate and four bassinets. The annfigjpcement was made by the present officers of the Brigham City Alano club, June Nielsen, president; Don Hansen, vice president, and Norman Layton, secretary and treasurer. Glen Dummer is building committee chairman. Construction is being handled by Wayne Young Construction company of Willard. The Brigham City Alano club is organization, supported solely by dues paid by members, fund raising social affairs and contributions from public citizens and civic organizations interested in the alcoholic problem. Alano Hall is available to any group or organization for meetings or social activities for the prevention of alcoholism or rehabilitation of alcoholics, Mrs. Nielsen said. The additional' room is needed to accommodate the increased number of Box non-prof- it Elder county people participating in Alcoholics Anonymous Alanon and Alateen . programs. Victor Orzco was struck twice and is now receiving care in the Pioneer Memorial Nursing home in Brigham City. The hearing Wednesday was continued until Oct. 20 due to conflicts in attorney schedules.
