Mi Enjoy Lunch Spending the past week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Verl Anderson was their daughter Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Leming of Alamo, Nev. Thursday the two ladies enjoy- ' ed lunch at the Grand View in Logan along with Patriarch and Mrs. Leo Earl and Mrs. Connie Sorenson of Logan. An Ole and Sophia Petersen family reunion was held at North Park in Tremonton Saturday with the Goodey family as chairman for the afternoons activities. Following a picnic lunch, brief histories of each of the seven original members of the family were given by Leon Christensen of Salt Lake City, Jack Holt of Bountiful, Alma Goodey of Clarkston, President Donald Petersen and Mrs. Elma Petersen of Fielding, Mrs. Melba Cottle of Clarkston and LaVern Wilcox of Ogden. Games were played and a social enjoyed. Dr. Betty Petersen of Provo and Mr. Louise Meade of Granger spent Saturday and Sunday visiting their mother Mrs. Donetta Petersen. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Anderson and small daughter Tracy have been spending a few days visiting Mrs. Andersons parents Mr. and Mn. Verl Coombs entertained at a family party at their home Thursday evening for their son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Steve Coombs and daughters Michelle and Carmen who are visiting here from Pullman, Wash. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lamb of Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Marble and son Danny of Collinston, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Coombs, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Coombs and daughters Lana and Joann and son Kirk and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Forsberg and son Melden and daughter Paula of Fielding. Dinner was enjoyed followed by pinochle. Mrs. Irene Peck entertained at a patio dinner party at her home last weekend. Guests included Dr, Gordon Reynolds and Bill Preston of Idaho Falls, R. H. Peck and Bob Ohman of Salt Lake City, Vince McCarthy and Julie Peck of Bountiful, Mrs. Maxlene Gardner of Brigham City, Mrs. Ruby Farnsworth of Fielding. Following dinner they attended a rodeo and climaxed the evening with fireworks. The opening session is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday and is billed as an instructional session. Among others, it will involve those seeking to become delegates to the national convention. All other convention activities will be held Saturday with Ronald Reagan, seeking to garner Utahs 20 delegate votes in his bid for the GOP presidential nomination slated to be on hand. Some 52 delegates have been elected from Box Elder county to attend the state convention, according to County Chairman R. Douglas 16-1- 7, . Parsons. VJESSTECJ Gave Memories . Betty Barrott of St. Anthony, who recently returned from a LDS Mission in Taiwan, gave memories of her mission as did Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pack who recently returned from an LDS Mission in Pennslyvania. A film on historic points of interest in Washington D.C. was shown. Door prizes were given and a social enjoyed. Visiting Mrs. Rachel Burton and family the forepart of the week were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Crane and son Matthew of Herriman, Norma Burton of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Todd Garbanati and daughter of Amy of Snowville. Visiting Mrs. Helen Jensen Tuesday were Mrs. Lois Smith and daughter Jill of Ogden. Mrs. Tess Hess, Mrs. Joan Hangen, Mrs. Janet Adams, Mrs. Klea Scott and Mrs. Marian-Grover attended a Bear River Chapter of Utah Young Homemakers summer party held at Juniper Inn Thursday evening. A delicious dinner was enjoyed afterwhich they attended the performance of The Contrast hold at the Lyric Theater. . Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mason along with other family members attended the wedding ceremony in the El Cielito wedding chapel in Pocatello Friday morning where their grandson Ross nomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rollin (Helen Mason) Thomas of Soda Springs, claimed Miss Kathy Barton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Ramsom of Pocatello as his bride. That evening a lovely wedding reception for the newlyweds was held in the El Cielito cultural halt. The bridal party was also feted at a wedding breakfast hosted by the grooms parents held at Remos The family all had reservations at the Emperial Motel and remained overnight returning to their homes Saturday. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hanesn of Brigham City. - Taur the Park Mr. and Mrs. Rick Kent and daughter Rebecca have been spending a few days vacationing in Yellowstone Park. Their small daughter Kathryne remained with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Udy. Wednesday Mrs. Opal Gam accompanied by her daughter Mrs. Nancy McCulloch of Sunset drove to Idaho Falls where they were overnight guests of Mrs. Garns son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Gerry Gam and family. Thursday morning they attended the wedding ceremony in the Idaho Falls Temple where David Petersen claimed Brenda Barrus as his bride. The groom is the son of Mrs. Beverly Cannon Petersen, former resident of Fielding. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil H. Barrus of Coeur d Alene, Idaho. The bridal party consisting of 54 relatives and close friends enjoyed a wedding breakfast held at the Westbank Restaurant. She was accompanied by. her sister Mrs. Nettie Lott of Bothwell. A picnic luncheon was enjoyed. Mrs. Munson displayed large pictures of Samuel Benjamin and Maria Holton Pack and gave a brief history of each. She was retained a secretary of the Pack reunion.
