It seems as if most every family in town either had a party at their home or went to one somewhere else. Merle and Lindy Holmgren probably did the ultimate party. They were in Pasadena for the Rose parade and the Rose Bowl football game. They stayed with Morrell Marjorie Knudion Merrell, of 1(3 South Flrat Eaat, 79, Brigham City, died Monday, Jan. 5, 1975, at her home after a short Mined. He received the burns by standing in the bath tub in water which was much too hot. Andrea Huggins, Dollie Iverson and Ben Mortensen attended the 75th anniversary of the Elwood Ward on Dec. 16 which was the very day it was organized. H. Lott Peter Herman Lott, 85, of Fielding, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 1976, at Pioneer Memorial Nursing home in Brigham City of heart failure. He was born Aug. 10, 1890, in Elsinore, Utah, a son of Peter and Isabella Farnsworth Lott. He married Fern Moore on Aug. 1, 1910, in Joseph, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS temple. She died April 2, 1932. He married Nettie Godfrey on Feb. 5, 1936, in the Salt Lake temple. He lived in Elsinore until 1083 when he moved to Joseph. He attended school in Joseph and also attended Utah State Agricultural college. He owned and operated a farm in Fielding. While in Joseph, he served as YMMIA president, bishops Counselor, member of the North Sevier LDS Stake High council, chorister, music director and member of the ward building committee. He was a high priest in the Fielding LDS ward and had served as ward teacher, Sunday school teacher and YMMIA has resigned as correspondent to missionaries and servicemen and lone Duncan has accepted the job. 701723-634- 3 - |
