Show BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah 22 Thursday, December 4, 1975 Tremonton Tales Holidays bring friends and relatives from far and near by Flo Munson Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris entertained at a dinner party at their home honoring Mrs. Harris's sister, Mrs. Paul Pavlik of Chicago. Guests included Dr. and Mrs. Eldon Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Gardner of Logan, Mrs. Larry S. Cole and son Richard of Seattle, Mr. and Mrs. M.A. Crandall and two sons of Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. George Shelby of Garland. Mrs. LaMar Harris and her sister Mrs. Paul Pavlik spent two days in Reno during the week. Mrs. Vernell Morrison had as her Thanksgiving dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. David Morrison and children Danny, Deina, Daren and Darci of Fountain Valley, Calif., Don and Douglas Morrison students at Brigham Young university in Provo. They all remained until Sunday when they left for their homes. Enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford John and family were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd John and daughters Carla and Irene of Ogden. Dinner guests of President and Mrs. Gerald Simmons and family Thanksgiving day were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Simmons of Beaver Dam. Dr. H.H. Bartholomew and family of Salt Lake City spent Thanksgiving visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ed Deakin. Wedding Ceremony Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shumway attended a wed- ding ceremony in the Salt Lake Temple for Mrs. Shumways nephew, Whitney Lund of Brigham City and his new bride. The bridal party enjoyed a wedding breakfast at the Lions House in Salt Lake City following the ceremony. Saturday evening an open house honoring the newlyweds was held in the Brigham City First Ward cultural hall. Enjoying dinner with Bishop and Mrs. Theo Coombs and family on Thanksgiving day were Mr. and Mrs. Evan Stevenson and family of Logan. Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Worley and family were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cook of Kaysville, Miss Janet Worley and Mr. and Mrs. George Worley and family of Ogden and Mrs. Cora Burnett of Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Burgess spent Tuesday through Friday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jay Anderson and family in Bountiful. Enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. A.N. Rytting were Mrs. Ruth Kunkle and daughters Michelle and Bonnie of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shumway entertained at a dinner party at their home Thanksgiving day. Guests were Mrs. Dorothy Martin and two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. John Shumway and two daughters and Miss Ver Gene Shumway of Salt lake City, David Shumway and Douglas Umbreit, students at Brigham young university in Provo. Dinner Party Mr. and Mrs. Max Adams and daughter Trecia, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Payne and family, Mrs. Jess Udy and small daughter of Tremonton attended a dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. DeLoss Jensen in River- Holiday Guests Holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wheatley and family were David Wheatley who is enrolled at Ricks college in Rexburg and Allen Wheatley who is enrolled at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Dr. and Mrs. Kimbal Wheatley and daughter Nichole of Ogden and Miss Carla John of Brigham City joined them for Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford John and son Brian spent Saturday visiting Mrs. Johns mother Mrs. Charlet Gibby in Mendon. Thanskgiving dinner guests of Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris wee Mr. and Mrs. George Shelby and children Kathy and Bob of Garland. Enjoying Thanksgivng dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Karl Benson in Logan were Mr. and Mrs. Don Potter and sons Kent and Val and daughter Teri. Other guests were Miss Denise Potter of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard and daughter Shari and son Michael of Bountiful. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Don Potter accompanied their daughter Denise, a student at USU in Logan to the Salt Lake airport where she left by plana for Chicago to represent Utah in the national convention. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gephart and children Lesa, Robyn and side Saturday. Other guests were Mrs. Reed Lowe of Grace, Idaho, Mrs. Mike Tucker and three children, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Ogden and two children of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Monte Ogden and family of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Nelson and family entertained at a dinner party at their home Thanksgiving day. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burnett and Mr. and Mrs. David Burnett and children Terrell and Julie of Riverside. Houseguests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Con Hansen during the Thanksgiving holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Moore of Idaho Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Harris and son Billie of Springfield, Ore. Saturday they all attended an annual Harris family party held in the banquet room in the Portage Ward building. Others attending from Tremonton were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Fuhriman of Los Angeles who was spending the holidays with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lee Fuhriman and family. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Harris left Sunday to return to their home in Springfield, Ore. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Dider-ickseand sons Michael and Jeff and daughter Michelle of Grantsville, Jim Didericksen of Centerville enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Mrs. Lula Didericksen in Thatcher. Michelle Didericksen of Grantsville and Bonnie Rae Jaussi of Corinne spent the weekend visiting their cousin LeAnn Thompson in Thatcher. Dr. and Mrs. Lyle Archibald and children Kimberly, Alexander and Jeffrey of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Callister of Logan spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Grant Callister. Mrs. LaMar Harris accompanied by her daughter Mrs. George Shelby of Garland visited Mrs. Louis Moench in Salt Lake City during the week Kotters Host Spending the Thanksgiving holidays visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kotter were Mr. and Mrs. David Kotter and son Chad of Ogden and Misses Sallie and Dixie Kotter of Provo. Leaving Monday for their home in Spokane after spending the Thanksgiving holidays visiting Mr. and Mrs. Glen Crump and family were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Crump and two daughters. Others who enjoyed Jennie and Daren of Malta, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Anderson and son Ryan, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Quinney and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Labrum and daughter Nicole have returned after an enjoyable vacation in Longmont.
